Agents at your service - mDataChat

MAMA AI won a public contract for Czech Television

MAMA AI has been selected by Czech Television to implement a tool for creating audio descriptions for TV programmes. This win confirms MAMA AI's innovative capabilities in the field of artificial intelligence and its contribution to the media and the wider public.

Have you ever watched a show in a version where you hear an explanation of what's happening on screen in addition to the characters' dialogue? That's what's called audio descriptions. It's a distraction for most of us, but for many of our fellow citizens it's the only way to understand the plot. To empathise with their situation,  close our eyes while watching television. How long can you stand it? 

A tool called mVoice Studio makes television broadcasts more accessible to blind and visually impaired people. Its implementation at Czech Television, which began in September 2023 and is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year, will enable the fast and efficient creation of audio descriptions. The editor only needs to create these descriptions in text form, and the synthetic but completely natural-sounding voices from MAMA AI will create their audio form. The result will be easier production of TV programs that can be enjoyed more by people with visual impairments. 

The collaboration with Czech Television further strengthens the market's perception of MAMA AI as a company that creates solutions for the media and entertainment industry that enhance the quality of life - in this case for approximately 70,000 of our fellow citizens with severe visual impairments.
