Dear clients, partners and fans of new AI technologies!
The weather in May and June was perfect for lowering the roof of a convertible and hitting the road.
Jan Cuřín attended the Ipsos conference titled "Deepfakes and AI: At the Crossroads of Democracy?" where he discussed the issues of deepfake and voice AI, including detection and protection methods, which are becoming increasingly important topics. At the press conference "In the Shadow of ChatGPT: Changes in Perception and Use of Artificial Intelligence by the Czech Population and Journalism," it was mentioned, among other things, how experiences with ChatGPT among the Czech population have increased over the past year. At the "Business Connection" event held at the Café Louvre Gallery by the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic, he demonstrated that the power of AI solutions can also help the smallest businesses achieve better results.
The AVA roadshow in May, organized by our business partner Asseco Solutions, had three stops: in Velichovky, Brno, and Prague, where the final keynote titled "How to Implement AI More Successfully than the Competition" was delivered by Kuba Krchák. In response to the opening question "Who is already implementing AI?" many participants from the audience raised their hands. However, fewer hands went up to the follow-up question "And who is doing it successfully?" making Kuba's presentation hopefully beneficial. 👍
The most notable event in June was the eBF2024 Procurement Festival in Ostrava, which we attended under the banner of TD Synnex. The term "festival" is quite fitting. Ten lecture venues with packed programs, record attendance, a relaxed atmosphere perfect for networking with potential clients, and a regatta on the Ostravice River to top it off!
The theme of our presentation was the application of artificial intelligence in the procurement department. The purchasing process is often complex, involving communication, urgency, and document searches, which is where our conversational technologies TELMA AI and the semantic mSearch come into play.
But more on that in the future. Today, we'll look at how significantly AI can help in the world of chemistry, with searching through your image database, what the Bohemian Line is for, and there will be an invitation to the next MAMA AI Academy.
Wishing you a pleasant holiday and summer break on behalf of The MAMA AI team!

We explore five billion molecules before you can say "disestablishmentarianism"!
We wrote about our product CHEESE in the last newsletter. To briefly remind you: it is a search tool that allows you to find molecules with similar properties very quickly and accurately.
Users and clients regularly ask us how CHEESE compares to similar tools used in the drug discovery community.
Recently, we conducted several benchmarks, which we will be publishing in a series of posts on LinkedIn, where we will also explain them in more detail.
What makes CHEESE Search so exceptional? In addition to its versatility (the ability to train almost any similarity metric), CHEESE Search offers an excellent balance of speed and accuracy.
In this particular benchmark (DUD-E with 102 targets), CHEESE Search ranked among the best in terms of accuracy, while also being one of the fastest in search performance. This is a very unique combination, as illustrated by the graphic.
Imagine having your own photo database and needing to find an illustrative image for your web article. Just describe the situation you’re looking for, and mSearch will help you find relevant images.
You can upload automatically generated descriptions of images from your photo bank into your document collection, along with links to these images. The descriptions are in English, but mSearch is multilingual, so you will get correct results even for queries in many languages.
For example, if you’re looking for a historical image of a man and a woman observing something together, mSearch will quickly match the query with an automatically created description of a specific image:
"The image features a man and a woman standing close to each other. The woman is wearing a long, flowing dress, while the man is dressed in a robe. They appear to be looking at something together, possibly engaging in a conversation or observing an event. The woman's long hair is visible, adding to the overall aesthetic of the scene."
And it will provide you with a link to that image.
Where can it be used?
Marketing campaigns: Quickly find suitable images for advertising materials based on the description of the situation. Content creation: Bloggers, journalists, and content creators can quickly find illustrative photos for articles and social media posts. E-commerce: Online stores can effectively search for and use product images for descriptions that match specific situations or customer needs.
Try the new capabilities of mSearch and make your image search tasks easier.

Do you feel that today's world lacks poetry? Telma AI has helped remedy this situation. If you need a poetic piece of advice or an excuse, you can get it through the Bohemian Line, launched by the beer brand Krušovice Bohemian. On request, it will generate a short poem based on the themes you provide.
How do you usually rate your satisfaction on a scale of 1 to 10?
You generally expect things to work, right? And when they do and you're satisfied, you usually give an eight, right? Something subconsciously prevents us from rating a ten. We just leave some room so that we can give a nine next time and maybe, eventually, a ten. But tens are simply not given out lightly.
That's why we greatly appreciate that in the satisfaction survey of the last public MAMA AI Academy, we received a straight ten tens!
We are also available for corporate training in Czech or in English language if you need to inspire your entire team in the field of artificial intelligence!
